Parts are an example until the real part is confirmed. Extra faults found after the diagnostic are quoted before the work continues.
Terms
This quote is valid for the period shown. Prices are in Australian dollars and, where GST is applied, unit prices exclude GST. Work starts after written acceptance. Variations to the scope are quoted separately.
Call-out and labour
The trip to the car and the time on the spanner are easy to blend. Split them and the next job is easier to price.
Parts after a look
Quote the diagnostic first. When you know the part, add a line or send a new quote. Do not hide a guess inside “labour”.
The invoice the same day
Convert the quote when the job is done. The client pays the account on the invoice, with the invoice number as the reference.
Short answers
What if I do not know the part yet?
Quote the call-out and the diagnostic, and write that parts are extra once confirmed. A quote for a guess is how the price moves after you have started.
Can I add GST?
Yes, if you are registered. Unit prices are ex GST and the switch adds 10%. If you are not registered, leave GST off.
Does the client need the app?
No. They open the link you send, read the quote, and tap Accept. You open their confirmation on your phone and the quote is marked accepted.
