Notes
Paint is to the nearest tin you already have. A full room is a separate quote.
Terms
This quote is valid for the period shown. Prices are in Australian dollars and, where GST is applied, unit prices exclude GST. Work starts after written acceptance. Variations to the scope are quoted separately.
Call-out on its own
If they only need you to look, the call-out is the price. The tasks sit underneath and can be dropped.
Materials
If you supply fixings or paint, give them a line. “Materials extra” with no number is the line people argue about.
A short validity
Thirty days is the default. Shorten it if the hardware price is jumpy. The date prints on the quote.
Short answers
Can the client accept on their phone?
Yes. Share an accept link. They get a page with the quote and an Accept button. Open the confirmation they send back, on the phone that wrote the quote, and it is marked accepted.
Where do the bank details go?
On the invoice. The accept link leaves the BSB off. When you convert the quote, the how-to-pay box prints the account.
Is there an hourly figure I should use?
No recommended rate. The hourly calculator divides the income you want, and your costs, by the hours you can bill. It is not a rate card.
